Question for you handy types

My fireplace screen has feet that keep it out from the wall for a couple of inches, which to a cat is like a superhighway. (See the picture.) Do any of you have any thoughts on how I could put it flush against the wall but still have it be stable? Thanks.

Not and have it stable. The only thing I can think of is to block off the ends. I suspect they'll get bored with it soon enough, though.

I'll probably block off the ends with bricks. However, I asked the same question on Facebook, and multiple people are saying "duct tape". Classy -;)
