Cheaper Cell Phone Plan?

Has anyone used Straight Talk cellular and recommend them? Or other recommendations for cheap plans that support smartphones and unlimited data? Thanks.

Added: My phone doesn't work with the Straight Talk Plan, so I'd have to get another new or used phone. If you have had an IPhone 4s, would you tell me why it's great?

A friend gave me his old iPhone 4 and I use SpotMobile which I can highly recommend (so far)! haha. They use TMoblie towers and coverage has been no problem. It's a no-contract service, and you can choose which services you want month-to-month. I pay 25 dollars per month for unlimited talk and text. If I paid for unlimited web, too, it would be 35 a month (I think.)

Since I don't use web on my phone (to save money is my only reason right now) I can't tell you if the iPhone 4 is spectacular. It's my first smartphone. I can tell you that I hate auto-correct because it's usually wrong and I could've set it up better! ha! But the phone itself seems fine to me.
