Something New

days_unfoldingWell, the storm was a bust. We heard thunder, but it didn't rain (which means that I have to go out on the deck and water the "south forty" (garden)). It's now not supposed to rain tomorrow, so I'm going to run errands tomorrow instead of tonight. I really need to pick up the bicycle tomorrow though; otherwise they'll send it back on Tuesday.
So I'm running virtual errands instead. I just signed up as a Independent Younique Presenter, that is, I'm going to sell makeup as a sideline. We'll see how this goes. I like the fact that you can hold "virtual parties" online, which might work really well if I distribute marketing materials in some of the small towns in this area. I now have a web site that customers can use for orders. Obviously I won't have as much time to put into the business as someone who's doing it full-time, but if I could make enough to cover my car payments, I'd be ecstatic. I must remember to contact HR at the college on Monday; they want to know of any moonlighting jobs to make sure that there isn't a conflict of interest.
I also want to order some new blazers, shirts, and maybe pants that I saw in a couple of catalogs online; I keep doing laundry often because I don't have enough work clothes.
Maybe I'll watch a movie and mend some clothes (I really need to mend clothes!), but the fact that I'm yawning at 8:30 PM isn't a good sign. Maybe I'll just go to bed early and get up early.
Oh, and I received a huge box from Amazon.com containing toilet paper that was on sale, so I need to do something with that because it's in the middle of the front hall.
