Wandering Gypsy

I feel a little like a wandering gypsy. My application for the apartment in Lincoln has been approved, and I signed the lease. I have the keys, and can bring stuff down, but the lease won't start until my move date, Dec. 2, which is very nice of them. I'm thrilled. However, because the place is smaller than my current townhouse, I need to get rid of as much stuff as possible, so I have my work cut out for me. I also am setting up a Younique table at a flea market in Peoria at the end of the month, so I have stuff to do to prepare for that too. I guess keeping busy will keep me out of trouble....
Zig Ziglar (sales/inspirational speaker) said that people wait for motivation to do something, but if you do something, the motivation will follow. I had a small example of this tonight. I went to a user group meeting today in Springfield (1.5 hour drive one-way) at 10 AM this morning, so I got up much earlier than normal. I had planned to go home and take a nap afterward. However, I decided to splurge and have dinner at Noodles and Company. Then I noticed that AT&T was next door, so I went over there to switch my cell phone coverage to them, including a hotspot so that I can use my Kindle Fire for Younique orders at the event later this month. Then a grocery store was in the same strip mall, so I picked up a few things (although I really need to get serious about "eating down" the food in my freezers). I then stopped at Dollar Tree and picked up some items for my table at the event. I went to Office Depot and bought a cash box and printing calculator. I wanted to try some new food for Harlee in lieu of her very expensive prescription food, so I stopped at PetCo. (I bought her Halo Spot's Stew Grain-Free Senior formula, which is one of the best foods that you can buy, so we'll see how it goes.) Then I filled up my car with gas. Finally, I went home.
And now that I'm home, suddenly I'm exhausted. I have one more errand to run; I need to write a letter giving notice for my current apartment, but I'm crashing and burning. If I go to sleep by 10 PM though, I should be able to get up early enough to run the letter over, plus I can get a receipt for it. I also need to run back to AT&T because they couldn't complete the switchover tonight because they had to wait for a response from my current cell phone company.
