days_unfoldingOh yes. It snowed this morning. A little early as far as I'm concerned. But we lucked out in Central Illinois. We didn't get a lot of snow. Chicago, however, got 11 inches of snow at O'Hare. I've been calling my mom because she was supposed to drive to Chicago yesterday, and the snow in Chicago started last night. Haven't heard from her yet, though.
I'm feeling cold, so I'm swilling a lot of coffee. I found a coffee I like, Papa Nicholas (a Chicago brand) Vanilla Bean coffee. I bought their Hazelnut too, but haven't tried it yet. They also have Amaretto and Irish Cream blends that I'd like to try. The coffee is doing a good job keeping me awake and fairly energetic too. I have to remember to stop drinking it before bed. I have a Pepperment herbal tea that I could drink instead. If I keep drinking coffee, I should get a full coffee maker. Black and Decker has a K-cup coffee maker that isn't too horribly expensive. I like the K-cup idea because I could make tea in it too, but Papa Nicholas doesn't come in K-cups. What to do, what to do.
The new Library Director is starting on Monday, so I should start to get offloaded soon. And we work only two days next week, and have the rest of the week off. I'm SO looking forward to the time off. I do need to stop by work tomorrow and finish cleaning off my desk (want to put my best foot forward), but I hope that I won't be there long.
