Wake Up Little Susie

days_unfoldingWeird day. I took a nap after breakfast. I didn't set an alarm, figuring that I wouldn't sleep very long. Mistake. I woke up several hours later when I was in the middle of an intense dream and felt someone shaking me to wake up. I did wake up, very confused because only Zara and I were there. I think that Zara walked on me, which I interpreted as shaking me in my dream. If so, thanks Zara because I had stuff to do. Which brings me to this cartoon:
I'm in the middle of doing laundry. I need to have some clean work clothes for tomorrow because one of the people who works on Sunday might have strep throat. She's going to see if another of the part-time staff members might cover for her, but I might have to go in. I also need to dye my roots because there is some major silver action going on at my temples. And I want to record a Younique video tonight. I also need to catch up on my work for the two library Acquisitions classes that I'm taking. Etc. The fun never stops!
However, we're on the home stretch at work. Friday was the last day of classes, and next week is Finals Week. Two more weeks until we get two weeks off for Winter Break (not that I'm counting or anything!) Work is going well. I think that the new library director and I will work well together.
I'm stockpiling materials for Winter Break. I have some personal development books. I bought some planning books, both for my business and the rest of my life. And I'm also stockpiling some pleasure reading. Right now, I'm reading Wolf Hall, which is an acclaimed novel about Thomas Cromwell in the Tudor England days. Apparently we had it in our library, so I grabbed it. I'm also reading a book about French culture that also was in our library. And I've requested more pleasure reading from interlibrary loan. I also want to work on organizing my place. I won't be bored :)
