Whoops--Forgot Madison

days_unfoldingI forgot Madison in my travel plans. It's also a short hop from Chicago, so I could tag it onto my next Chicago trip as well. Even better, I could take the train to Madison (but not to Cedar Rapids).
Or I believe I could fly to both places from Chicago. Addendum: Yes, I can fly to Madison from O'Hare. Both American and United fly there. It costs $138 if you book on the web in a couple of weeks in advance. It's a half-hour flight. American and United also fly to Cedar Rapids; the flight is an hour; it costs $151.
The real challenge will be getting out of Chicago to visit these places. Maybe if I explain that I'm considering moving closer to Chicago, my relatives will let me go-;)
