On Monday, I got the letter from the apartment manager giving me permission to adopt a cat. I ran it over, but the Humane Society apparently is closed on Monday. I ran it over again on Tuesday. Tonight, I got the call that I was approved to adopt, and she asked me when I wanted to adopt Mimi. I told her Saturday after I work at the Humane Society because I could stay home with Mimi (although I'm sure that she'll hide). I also work there tomorrow morning, so I'll get to see her. I'm excited!

How did I get tomato sauce in my hair? And on my sweater too. Yikes.
