Breathe Deeply

I woke up around 9 this morning, but fell back asleep to about 2:30. Then my phone chimed. I had a meeting at the Humane Society at 3, but I wasn't going to make it at that point. I'll send an apologetic note, and set the reminders on my phone earlier to where they'll actually do some good.
I've ordered a lot of business books, and my boss has ordered some other books. After I catalog the books, they go to a part-time worker who works on Sunday for processing. Because there were so many new books, the week before last, I asked other staff members to cover the books in plastic. Well last Sunday, the processor complained that the other staff members didn't cover the books correctly, and it would be easier to do them herself, and if we want to help her, have someone stamp the books and put due date slips in them. That's exactly what we did this time, and now she's complaining that no one covered the books. (I knew that she was going to do that!) So I responded (via e-mail) that she said last time that she wanted to cover the books, and I haven't heard anything back. If my job seems perfect for me, every rose has a thorn. I'm staying surprisingly calm though.
I have an early Humane Society day tomorrow, so I'm trying to get as much stuff done as I can before I need to go to sleep. No, I'm not watching the Academy Awards, although I'll probably check online to see who won and take a quick scan of the dresses. My boss is having an Academy Awards watching party for the students. I hope that it's going well.
