Sleepy Sunday

I'm feeling a lot better now that I've taken the med that I have been missing. I've been sleepy though, which reminds me, I need to go get my COFFEE! It's gloomy and supposed to rain, which isn't helping. Need a shot of sunshine!

I'm having door issues with Zara. My mom suggested that I get a gate to put between the kitchen and back door area to keep her from dashing out when I open the door. I did get a gate, but it's shorter than I realized (yes, I know, read the specs), and sometimes doesn't latch very well. Zara had been respecting the gate anyway at first, but now she's jumped over or unlatched the gate. I think that she just wants to know where I go when I go outside rather then wants to go outside, but either way, it's a problem. So I'm looking for a better gate.

Onwards to get more stuff done....

Found an extra-tall and extra-wide gate that might work, although I need to check the measurements. Not cheap, but not surprised.

I don't know where you're placing the gate, but a screen door works (maybe better) as cats climb and jump over gates.

I rent, so I can't put in a screen door.
