days_unfoldingMimi up and decided that she's had enough of being in the bedroom, and she ran out. At first, things seemed to be going well between Zara and her; they were nose-to-nose without hissing. Now they're having some squabbles, including one in the bedroom when I was trying to take a nap. (Oy.)
Harlee came to the gate to see what was going on. Mimi was growling at her, but Harlee held her ground.
I'm hoping that things will settle down enough that I can take a nap after my hair appointment. I'm going to leave both of them out when I'm gone, however, because I think that things are going as well as can be expected.
Added: I came home from getting my hair cut and having lunch to find Zara curled up on the chair in the hall and Mimi asleep on the bed. The whole thing feels like an anticlimax, but that's good.
