More Month Than Money
Mar. 19th, 2016 12:58 amI'm tight on cash until the end of the month. I'm turning it into a game, though, and trying to figure out how I can avoid spending money. (If I had realized how tight money was, I wouldn't have bought a ticket to the concert tomorrow, but that's a done deal, so I might as well go. I have a full tank of gas because I didn't go up to a meeting in Normal because I wasn't feeling well this morning.)
Anyway, I had soup and a couple of rolls for dinner (my lunch), and it was surprisingly filling. I bought some more turkey hot dogs, eggs, and cheese and bread for grilled cheese. And more soup. I think that I'll be fine. I also had some more soup and an extra can of chili that were hidden behind some other stuff. And lots of pasta. Mimi and Zara are eating the canned food with hidden chicken in it that Harlee can't eat. (They had venison tonight, which looked gross to me, but they loved it.) They also have dry food. I do need to refill Zara's prescription, but that won't cost much.
Next weekend (Easter weekend), which is a long weekend for us, I'm going to stay home and do stuff around here. And eat lots of eggs. And drink coffee and tea.
