Garage Sale

I spent some time this week going through stuff for the garage sale. (I had to skip a day to dye my hair and mend a nice blazer that I have because a photographer was taking pictures for a "READ" poster, a poster of an individual and a book they chose, for the library. My boss said, "Wear something that you don't mind seeing for years." No pressure -;) But I digress.) However, I was running out of time on Friday, so I asked to take a half-day off. My cool boss said that it was okay. I finished getting stuff together around midnight.
Morning came way too fast, but I knew that it would. I ran around 15 minutes late, but had my tables mostly set up when the sale started at 8 AM. We mostly got people from the complex, although a few people drove over here. I sold some stuff and made $40.
The best part of this endeavor, though, is that I did a lot of decluttering. I'm planning to bring a lot of the stuff that didn't sell to Goodwill. But not right now; I'm in serious need of a nap.
