Memorial Day Weekend

days_unfoldingI'm feeling much better. I guess that I was having a bad reaction to the tetanus shot.
And now I'm off for three days. I'm reading a fascinating book called Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding and the Meaning of Things. I have some hoarding tendencies, but compared to the people in the book, it's not too bad. It's spooky how many personality traits I have that are associated with hoarding though. Anyway, I'm using it to goad me into cleaning and organizing. Plus, I'm playing CDs to give me energy.
Tomorrow, I need to go to Springfield to pick up some food for Harlee, so I decided to tag on a movie, The Man Who Knew Infinity, to make the trip worthwhile. I had thought about going walking on a trail, but tomorrow is supposed to be 85 degrees F, so I wussed out. Air conditioning is my friend -;)
Monday, I go to the Humane Society toget more holes in my leg take care of the cats. I plan to stay home after that.
Harlee is telling me in no uncertain terms that I should pet her, so I have my marching orders.
