days_unfoldingSo far today, I have 1) gotten involved in a database access problem at work (I'm off today), 2) tested a couple of off-site database access issues (one fixed, one not), 3) fed the cats, 4) refereed a cat fight, 5) told Mimi that she's being a jerk, and 6) had a phone interview with the host travel agency.
The interview went well. The agency is laid-back, which is good. My next step is to get a business license. I've got the form, and I need to have it notarized and bring it to the County Clerk's office next week. Then I need to have a DBA notice published in a local newspaper. Then I need to get an EIN number from the IRS. After that, I can get a contract from the host agency.
The delay means that I can get a new vacuum now because I'll pay the fee to the host agency next month. So it's all good.
I'm going to make spaghetti for dinner tonight, and work on the kitchen. After a nap.
