A Better Day

days_unfoldingI talked to my mom tonight, and she sounds MUCH better, with more energy and more engaged in the conversation. In fact, I was grumbling about how difficult Zara has been this week, and she promptly defended her favorite grandkitty. She probably will be discharged out of the hospital on Saturday. Her red blood cell, platelet, and white blood cell count have gone up too. Sigh of relief.
While I was picking up a few things at WalMart, I saw a cardigan that I liked. One thing led to another, and I wound up picking up several pairs of pants, along with a couple of cardigans. I have a tough time finding pants that are my size, so I was running around grabbing ones that were my size. I dropped some money on them, but I expanded my work wardrobe immensely. Good deal.
I'm tired. I think that I'm going to do kitty maintenance and crash because I need to clean out the car tomorrow morning before I take Zara and Mimi to the vet.
