Too Much to Do

Well, my work week is over. Next week is Finals Week, and after that, we just work Monday and Tuesday, and we're off for two weeks. I'm looking forward to the break.

I'm really tired. I've been drinking coffee in the morning, which helps, but now I'm wiping out. I need to write a letter of recommendation for a former colleague, check my wrapping paper situation because I'm assuming that I'll need to send my aunt and uncle's presents to Chicago early next week, and make a grocery list. But I think that I'm going to crash and get up early. I can't stop yawning.

I have a pet sitter for Christmas. One of my colleagues' niece lost her job, and her husband is being treated for cancer, so she really can use the money. I have to decide what to do about Zara. Lately, she's been hanging out upstairs, but I can't count on that to last.

Mimi and Zara were getting along well until I took them to the vet last week, and now, they're fighting. Zara spent the whole day hiding on Wednesday. This morning, they were starting to get into it, and I just picked up Mimi and put her in the hall, and closed the gate. I don't know what Zara wants me to do though. She's hard to read.

Zara freaks out in the car. I'd hate to subject her to such a long drive. Plus she's gotten into my mom's stuff when we lived there, so my mom wouldn't be thrilled.
