Wine and Cheese
Dec. 30th, 2016 05:36 pmI ran down to the Post Office today, only to find that they didn't have my package. So I ran home to find it against my front door instead of my back one, where they usually leave packages. All's well that ends well. (I was sweating a little because it was expensive..)
I decided that there's no way that I could finish a bottle of Moscato on my own, so I picked up a four-pack of little bottles at the local liquor store. It probably was just as expensive as a full bottle, but at least, I won't waste it. And I don't need a corkscrew (screw-top caps).
I ran to the grocery store and picked up some cheese and crackers. So now I'm all set for New Year's Eve with the wine, cheese and crackers, and my goal-setting books. I'd also like to burn a candle, but it makes me a little nervous with Mimi and Zara around. They could think that it's a great toy.
It'll be a good New Year's Eve!
Oh, I also found a $20 bill in the parking lot of Walgreens. I turned it in, but left my number in case no one claims it. That's fair, isn't it?
