Fighting the Cosmic "No"
Dec. 31st, 2016 04:52 pmI had a lazy start to the day and went back to sleep after breakfast, and overslept my alarm. Fed the girls. I have to hand it to Zara; she's sleeping even though Mimi is lying on the same bed not far from her. Zara doesn't let Mimi cramp her style. Way to go, Zara.
As for me, I'm having problems getting my motor running. I just ate lunch, and I told myself that I should set up my lasagna in the crock pot, and inner me was complaining, "No! It's too much work!" Well, if I want something good to eat, I need to get it going. It gets tiring, though, to have to constantly fight myself to get stuff done. I feel like I'm living my life with one hand tied behind my back.
After I do that, I need to dye my hair, which needs it badly. I think that this is the longest that I've let my roots go.
Then I think that I'll alternate between working on my goal setting and working on the kitchen. I'll raise a glass as it gets later in the evening.
Happy New Year!
