I forgot to mention that I'm trying a personal Kanban system for productivity. It's based on a Japanese system for tracking workflow. It has four columns: To-do, which is a catchall for things that should get done sometime; Do today, In progress, and Done. You're supposed to limit the items in the In progress category. I thought that it would help with my tendency to take on too much and to procrastinate. There's an online tool that I'm using called KanbanFlow. We'll see if it helps. The biggest problem that I see is that something like a class will sit in "in progress" for a long time. I suppose that I could break it up into smaller tasks.
