Suffragette City
Apr. 4th, 2017 02:52 amWhile I was "weeding" books tonight, I ran across a "novelized biography" of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. What a firebrand she was! Not only was she one of the first women to advocate the vote for women, but she also advocated divorce rights and birth control. In the 1800s. She was too radical for a lot of the early feminists. I checked out the book and was reading it tonight. I'd like to read about more of the early suffragettes.
