The washer that I used took an hour and a half to cycle up to the rinse cycle. At that point, I changed the water level from "large" to "small," and then the washer started agitating. The dryer, on the other hand, is fast and dries clothes perfectly dry, even jeans. So now I know to avoid that washer.

I thought about running out to drop some books in the charity book drop, but I've decided to stay in, and drop the books off after work tomorrow.
