Our air conditioner at work was off yesterday because Maintenance was working on it. Did they warn us about it? The answer would be no. Communication is lousy at the college, and I bet that's part of the reason that my boss is leaving. Yesterday was hot too (80s?) By the time that I left, I felt kind of drunk, and I was driving a little strangely. I dropped off some books at the charity book drop, and got some groceries.
When I got home, I was dripping sweat upstairs even though the A/C was on. Then suddenly I stopped sweating and felt chilled. My skin felt cool and clammy. Somewhat alarmed, I went to lie down while the cats were eating, and fell asleep for 12 hours.
I'm still feeling kind of groggy.
Today, I need to do laundry, and do some cleaning. I also want to mostly pack for the conference so I'll know if I need to run get anything tomorrow. (I leave on Sunday.)
