days_unfoldingThe person whom we interviewed today was excellent. As far as I'm concerned, we should make him an offer, but we have a phone interview with another candidate tomorrow.
We had another big storm this morning. We held the part of the interview with the search committee over the phone because most of the search committee (such as it was; it keeps on shrinking) and the candidate were in one building, and I was in the library. Eventually the storm died down though.
The city of Lincoln has declared a heat emergency because of high temps and humidity, plus some places in Lincoln still are without power. The college has offered up one of the dorms as a cooling station.
I really need a nap :)
