The neighbors weren't completely accurate about it being a quiet neighborhood. There are active train tracks at the end of the block, and the trains come through with horns blaring. It's kind of fun to see the Amtrak trains come through though. I wave at them if I'm outside.

Some semis drive through on the busier of the two streets near the house (we're on the corner) and shake the house.

I'm sure that I'll get used to it though. The cats are dubious.
