Cold and Dreary

It was raining this morning, but not very hard. I decided to take my stuff to the thrift shop anyway. Only to find a line of cars waiting to drop off stuff. I guess that Sunday in the early afternoon is prime donation time.
I had the space heater on near my desk at the library. Library back rooms (where I sit) have two temperatures: too hot or too cold. I have a fan and space heater, and woe betide the person who takes them away from me. This makes me think of working at IBM, which was surprisingly cold in the winter, and everyone had a space heater. I'm surprised that the buildings didn't burn down.
The Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting snow mid-November. Ugh.
On the plus side, Miss Zara made a fuss over me when I came home for dinner. Kitty snuggles cure anything.
