days_unfoldingMimi has discovered the top of the freezer and the window above it. She was hanging out in the window for a while. I hope that she'll fulfill her interest in the outside world that way. Zara's in the other kitchen window. I thought that they'd be more interested in the living room window, but I guess not.
I need to make an emergency run for grits later today. The canister I had got dish soap all over it. I rinsed it off, and apparently some of the grits have molded. Yuck. Making some of the hot dogs that I have left instead for breakfast.
Now Harlee's here. Family cluster factor in action.
I have to get used to this vegetarian thing. I was looking at what's on sale at Kroger yesterday. Asparagus is on sale. I might make some asparagus soup later this week if I'm feeling enterprising. But frozen fish is on sale too, and I went "Ooh". I like fish. I had to remind myself that I'm not eating it.
