I Need to Organize My Mind Too

days_unfoldingDecided that because I needed to go out, I was going to mail my last Christmas card to my friend Lance. Got the card and the note that I wrote him together. Got the Christmas return address label. Could not find the stamps anywhere. Finally found them in a file folder hanging on the wall, in with the Christmas cards, address labels and such. There's some truth that if I put things away, I won't find them.
For days, I've been looking for some powder that I bought. It was in with some trial-sized stuff that I bought for the trip. Arrgh!
Did a massive amount of laundry and put some books on shelves. Hung a clock in the living room. It's taking shape.
Set up the altar in the bedroom. It looks good. I have a plaque that I want to hang over it, but want to wait until my mom can help me hang it straight.
Got the rented book that I'm returning packaged up, but the building containing the drop box was locked. I'll drop it off tomorrow. Scanned one of my receipts, but didn't have the other one. Need to look for it. Returned some library books. Mailed Lance's card.
I'm almost completely packed for Chicago. The backpack suitcase is heavy, but it's not too bad once it's on your shoulders. Put my laundry away too. Mimi "helped" with both tasks. I had to lift her out of a dresser drawer.
Now I'm eating something. I want to wrap my mom's presents tonight and pack up the girls' food for when they're boarded at the vet. I also want to get to sleep early because I want to dye my hair before I run to the storage place.
