Hitting the Wall
Dec. 30th, 2017 11:33 pmMom and I are starting to drive each other crazy. I had planned to work on the bedroom for a while this afternoon, but she said that we needed to get a new set of shelves for the kitchen. So I got myself together, and we went to Walmart. (Then we ate out, and she paid for it, do I suppose that I shouldn't complain.) Then she went to move the existing shelves, but said that the floor needed washing, so I dropped everything and washed it. She did get some of the shelves organized.
I did get the hall closet organized, using some hat boxes for gloves, hats, and scarves. The umbrellas are in the kitchen in a tall basket. I did get through a couple of boxes in the bedroom, but then I hit the wall, and couldn't make another decision. (That's why I like to work on organizing in a few sessions throughout the day, rather than one long session.)
She chewed me out for not bringing Harlee to the vet for her digestive problems. I will after I get paid. However, I've brought her there before, and what they did helped only for a few weeks, and then it stopped working. I did find something online that someone said worked miracles for her cat, and it comes with a money-back guarantee, so maybe I'll try it. They also said that frequent diarrhea can be caused by an allergy to chicken and grains. (I already knew that Harlee is sensitive to chicken.) I suppose that I could feed the other two fish, but Zara isn't very fond of fish. And I've tried to feed Zara grain-free food, but she won't eat it. What a mess.
I was hoping to have some contemplative time, but I'm too agitated. Maybe I should meditate.
