I Love Aldi's

days_unfoldingI called the vet and left a message about Harlee. They said that the vet "had to finish up a few things and would call me back". So I cleaned off the kitchen table, and cleaned out my old purse and transferred stuff to the new purse. I packed up some stuff to take to the coffee shop to read. I found the receipt to return the purse that I got at Walmart. I didn't find my gift card for the coffee shop, however. I wonder if I left it at work?
Meanwhile, it was getting later, and no phone call from the vet. I finally jumped in the shower so that I would get out in time to run errands. The vet called shortly after I got out of the shower. She said that we could try another medication, "but it doesn't taste good". I said that Harlee gobbles down Pill Pockets too fast to care about the taste. I'm going to pick up the meds tomorrow (if I get going early) or on Monday (more likely).
I picked up my dry cleaning and ran to the credit union. Picked up some stuff at Dollar Tree for my price notebook, including a small calculator to keep with it. Then I went to Aldi's, and got most of the items on my list and a few things that weren't on the list. My big finds were inexpensive coffee and a jug of apple cider.
Went to Walmart and returned the purse. Picked up a few things.
By the time that I got home, it was 8:15, and I still had to unload the car and eat. The movie was at 9. So I gave up on the movie tonight.
Ate dinner, and made hot apple cider with a cinnamon stick in it. It's heavenly :)
Oh, I forgot to mention that I received my Mary Kay lipstick and really like it.
