The Rug Doctor Is Steaming Mad at Dirt

AVG is not letting me save Word files on my netbook. Very annoying. I guess that I'll have to go into work to write my cat instructions. 

 

And drat. Zara's meds have no refills. I guess that I'll have to get up early on Monday and have them filled. 

 

Mimi just about gave me a heart attack. I couldn't find her anywhere; I was walking around calling her. Then I wondered if she got outside, so I walked around the house looking for her, but no Mimi. I went to feed the girls, figuring that she'd show up if she was in the house, and she emerged.

 

Mimi likes the salmon cat food, which is good.  

 

Saw Mama Cat and her kittens. Apparently there are three black kittens, not two. Didn't see the tabby kitten. Saw the tabby and two of the black ones later. It's fun watching them.

 

Took a nap. Had pancakes for lunch. Zara was hanging out in the bathtub, and I had to turn on the water before she'd get out. I bet that it's nice and cool in there. 

 

Dropped my slow cooker at the thrift store. (My InstaPot Gem has slow cooker functions, so I don't need both of them.) Rented the Rug Doctor. It seems to be doing a good job on the carpet.   

 

My carpet looks cleaner, but my bathroom is trashed. Oh well :)

 

Bought a new purse at WalMart. I still want to sew snaps on the old one as a "backup purse," but I don't think that I'll have time to fix it before I go, and I don't want to be in Union Station with a purse that doesn't close. I also picked up canned food for the girls while I'm boarding them at the vet.

 

Talked to Mom. She's loading up on breakfast food and soda for my visit because, well, she's a mom. She's really excited about my visit.
