Sleepy Day

Set my alarm for 9 AM, and got up about 20 minutes after. Mimi is on my lap.

 

My dad e-mailed me back about his diverticulitis. Apparently he wound up having most of his colon removed, which I didn't know, but mine is not that bad. He said that he saw some natural remedies a while back, and he'll look for them.

 

Tidied up the kitchen a little.

 

I'm trying to convince myself to not take a nap and run downtown to mail my Christmas cards instead. Zara is helping convince me by sitting on my lap.

 

Mailed the cards. I'm now at work, and can't stop yawning.

 

Oops. The hospital called to check on me, but I didn't pick up the message until the end of the day.

 

The library is deserted tonight.

Hmm. A magnet fell off of the fridge earlier today, and Zara was sliding it along the floor. I was looking for a (safer) cat toy that slid like that, and didn't find anything. Maybe I need to invent one....

Trying to decide whether to study Spanish for a while or just go to bed.
