The Curse Is Still On

Bought a pair of black leather ankle boots on eBay. I sincerely hope that they'll work for me. I will glue the boots that I have, but I want something that is in good shape for travel.

 

Overslept, but got up in time for class if I scrambled. It's foggy out, which is making me a little nervous about the drive.

 

I made it. Had a really tough time with the lab, so I need to practice Photoshop. We were merging pictures. I don't get layers.

 

This week's curse is still on; the lock to my car is frozen. I tried WD-40 and hand sanitizer, and now the key will go all the way into the lock, but it still won't turn. I tried calling the roadside assistance that comes with my insurance, and they said that they don't cover frozen locks. I got some lock deicer at a gas station, but that didn't work either. Now I'm wondering if the problem is the key. A nice colleague gave me a ride home. Tomorrow, I'm getting a new battery for the remote and walk over with the spare key and see if that helps.

 

As my grandmother would say, "Who needs this shit?"

 

I'm going to drown my sorrows in grilled cheese and tomato soup. After I thaw; it's 18F and WINDY. And then I'm going to study Spanish grammar and maybe work on Photoshop.
