The Move Is Moving Along

Woke up with my alarm at 9 AM. Gloomy day.

 

Kitty drama this morning. I was using the bathroom, then Zara came in, then Mimi came in. Zara didn't like Mimi being there and batted at her. I told them to chill.

 

Now I'm drinking coffee and waiting for the laundry to finish so that I can get in the shower.

 

When I went into the bathroom, Zara was sitting on the toilet and Mimi was right outside the door. I told Zara that I needed the toilet, so she jumped into the bathtub. Then I told her that I needed to shower, so she went behind the bathroom door. She must have worked it out with Mimi because she was gone when I got out of the shower.

 

Spilled soda all over my jeans. Way to go.

 

Waiting at Wal-Mart for the boxes, and an assistant manager is supposed to talk to me. I submitted photos of Zara and Mimi to one-hour photo this morning, and they aren't done yet. The stockers hadn't saved boxes, but the assistant manager ran around and found me some. That was nice.

 

Reserved a U-Haul truck for next weekend. Just asked a friend if she knew some guys who would like to make some money helping me move.

 

Took a short nap.

 

Cleared out my dresser and put the boxes in the car. Took the boxes to the new place.

 

I now have people to help me move. Awesome.

 

Ran more stuff over to the new place (suitcases, small tv, stuff for my altar).

 

Tried to set up utilities for the new place, but it didn't recognize the address. Filled out some forms required by the mobile home park. Ran the forms over and dropped them off. Ran to the store and picked up a few things.

 

Now I'm sitting for a few minutes. Wow, got the yawns. Fed the girls.

 

Dusted the TV, DVD player, stereo, etc. Emptied the drawers from the TV stand. I want to run them over to the new place tomorrow.

 

Fed myself. I'm going to sleep soon.
