High Freaking G
Jun. 16th, 2021 11:27 pmMimi has a routine. Eat breakfast and then hang out on Mommy's lap while Mommy is working. Somewhere around mid-morning, she'll go take a nap. Meanwhile, I need to work around a cat who is trying to get my attention.
I'm adding a solar fountain (mentioned by dadi) to my wish list. That sounds relaxing. I also looked at bird baths, but they're kind of expensive. I did find one that looks like a peacock that I liked. I also looked at portable gazebos, but they are expensive.
I have a crashing headache from neck and shoulder tension. I'm trying to loosen up, but I think that I need to lie down over lunch.
Mower guy says that it might be tomorrow when he gets to my place. I wish that he'd keep track of things rather than my having to remind him.
Zara smacked me when I got into bed and disturbed her. This house is not-so-secretly run by cats.
Someone wanted my ink-jet business cards. Cool. One more thing gone. I've decided to just give stuff away to get it out of my house.
I had my first full-blown voice lesson in a while. We're working on "Dido's Lament," which is a pretty, very sad song. She had me working on the original soprano version for a while, so my voice is fried. Apparently I can sing a high G under duress, but it doesn't sound great. We found a lower version though. I'm sitting here resting my voice. And I think that I'll have some lemonade.
Ran out to get soda and some mac and cheese. I was really craving mac and cheese for some reason.
I'm practicing singing intervals, but my voice hurts. I think that I did a number on my voice today. Bah. I shouldn't have to talk much tomorrow though. I do have a voice class tomorrow, but I might skip it if my voice hurts.
