The money did post to my account, so I submitted a grocery order. (That’s why I was staying up late. I wanted the order to come tomorrow morning.)

Overslept until 9:30 AM. Got my groceries, so yay. The dogs are outside. The cats want food, so I need to soak their dishes.

I finished one major task at work. Go me :)

I’m still having IBS symptoms. Ugh.

I made an appointment with the weight management people with whom I need to consult to get my insurance to cover the meds. It’s not until the 23rd (?) though. (It’s on my calendar.)

This is a productive day. I got a lot done at work. Then I went out and did some mowing. Now I need to get the garbage out (done—I even cleaned out the refrigerator. It needs serious scrubbing though).

I received my hiking poles.

Fed everyone except Zara. (Zara’s dish is soaking. I wash the dish before filling it again.)

I need to get to bed at a decent hour because I need to shower before work because I’m meeting the local AARP ladies for lunch.

Lousy Day

I woke up at 7:20 AM. I’m feeling groggy. I told the people at the AARP group lunch today that I’m not feeling well. I’m going to let the dogs out and go back to sleep for a while.

Crappity crappity crap. I overslept, and came upstairs to find that the cats broke my work monitor. I’m not sure what I do about that. I guess tell work and see what happens.

Today kind of sucks. I’m feeling groggy and confused. Oliver didn’t eat his food and Zara barely did. Zara might need more appetite enhancer meds, but I think that there’s a discombobulating force field here. The dogs, however, have been happily playing in the mud.

Piano class was okay. We sight-read some music of hers, some of which are simplified adaptations of other works and some are hers. We then practice them a little in class, and then we go into breakout rooms and play what we’re working on for her. Usually, I pick out the hardest of the three pieces, and if I have a high breakout room number, I usually have a handle on it if not perfect. Not this time. I was working on the teacher’s simplified excerpt from Rubinstein’s Melody in F. I started playing for her, and she busted me back to playing hands separately. If I was on the Gong Show, I would have heard the gong. Oh well.

I stepped on Bella’s paw. She yelped, but she seems okay. I apologized over and over.

Got the recycling out. I didn’t get boxes out because the ground is still wet.

I overslept, but the cats didn’t provide a fecal sample anyway. Are they pooping somewhere else?

Last night, I ordered someone else on [community profile] holiday_wishes some gnocchi that was on her Amazon wishlist. I love gnocchi. I told her to enjoy.

A song from the concert is playing in my head.

I'm not going to be able to get the Kia jump-started on Thursday because my grandboss is having an Open House. Wednesday is the Symphony concert. Friday is my singing lesson. This weekend, it's cold. So I guess next week (unless I get it done tonight).

Had my lunch with the local AARP women's group. The people were nice and easy to talk to. I had to leave early because of a meeting however. They're having these lunches monthly. I'm so sleepy after lunch. Went to take a "short" nap and overslept. I'll need to log on again tonight.

Fed the beasts. And yay, got a fecal sample from Oliver and Lily. I just need to get a fresh one from Zara.

Crap. Walmart was out of donuts, and I need them to get Gracie in. Can I DoorDash some? Yes, I did.

Crud. I was about to take the garbage out, when I realized that the area by the side gate isn’t shoveled. Hmm. I also keep having dizzy spells, so I threw the bags of garbage by the back door and called it good. I'll deal with it tomorrow.

I have a load of laundry going. Because I need to get up early to drop the fecal samples off at the vet, I'm going to go to bed as soon as it's done.
