Work Or Not?
Jan. 7th, 2018 10:26 amI'm up after some bizarre dreams. My mind is an interesting place to visit.
The weather forecasters are predicting freezing rain, aka ice. The rain has started a little, but it's supposed to get more serious in the afternoon. It feels damp in here, and I feel cold. Need hot coffee.
If I went into work early (I want to work a half-day), I could beat the worst of the rain, but I want to be able to get back home. If there's ice, forget it. I live only four blocks from work, but that's enough time to get into an accident if the roads are icy, so I'll wait and see. I'll do stuff around here in the meanwhile.
Harlee seems to have had a couple of accidents, but it's a lot better than it was.
Mimi has noticed that it's warmer, and she is hanging around the back door a little more. I told her that it's raining and she wouldn't like it, but I don't know if she believes me. I think that the cats have the life: eat, sleep, snuggle with Mommy, sleep, eat....I could go for that!
Oh, a friend of mine from high school (we interact on Facebook) has only a couple of dollars to buy food for the week, so things could be worse. She sells Mary Kay, so I just bought a pretty mauve lipstick from her. Not enough to solve her problem, but I'm hoping that other friends of hers will step up.
Chewy.com has an ad for a "heated A-frame cat house". Can't afford it, but I bet that the girls would go crazy over it.
People are writing Gilbert and Sullivan on Twitter about Trump.
