I found the textbook that I was looking for used on Barnes and Noble for $20. I bought it.

Parkland Community College has linear algebra for a lot cheaper than the uni. I might take it there instead. Oh, but I get a discount at the uni because I work for it. I need to parse this out.

It’s sleeting this morning. The ground is being covered with light snow.

I had missed a package yesterday, and they were the slippers. Oh, they’re really nice and cozy.

I decided not to get more boxes. I think that I have enough for the packing guy. It’s miserable out, and I want to take a short nap. I’ll order more boxes to be shipped to me. Couldn’t sleep. My brain is whirring. Got the stuff prepared for the packing guy.

I’ve been reading The Other Boleyn Girl and it’s pretty good.

I’m on my last bottle of caffeinated soda, so I need to submit a Kroger order after the packing guy gets here (done).

Packing guy is working on the upstairs. I’m packing in the dining room. My back hurts. Zara actually said “Hi” to the packing guy!

I got most of the dining room done. I need to tackle the table still.

The packing guy is almost done with my clothes, with the exception of the ones that I'm actually using and the coats. He didn’t use the large boxes, so I don’t need to order more, I think. I’d like to get some clear plastic bins for the stuff that I want to hand-carry (ordered). He found my old phone!! Yay, it's charging. And I found my textbook after I ordered it. Oh well.

The packing guy is now looking through my mom's stuff to see what he wants. I'm waiting around until he's done because I want to take a nap. Maybe I should do some math problems. The packing guy is taking a lot of stuff, but I said that was okay. There's still a lot of crap, er, stuff to sell. And he said that I could hire him to do more packing. I told him that the resale shop to which I was going to take Mom's clothes had closed, so we need to put the clothes back in the closets. He said that he could do that. He's coming back next week.

Nap time, although I read instead. I finished my book. I’m thinking that I should go to bed early and get up early to do homework.

I threw two pillows in the wash and then put them in the dryer. Opened the dryer, and there was only one pillow. WTF? I looked in the dryer and washer. No pillow. I finally found it wedged into the top of the dryer. Thought that I was losing it :)

I created another "Clean and declutter" commitment on Stickk, but this time with no money. I want to create ones for practicing and studying Italian with money, but I'm waiting until I get paid again.

I looked at cruises on AARP's cruise page, but didn't see "my" cruise. Weird. Now I'm not finding it on Celebrity's site. There's a similar one from Ft. Lauderdale though. AARP's site has a single cabin with veranda. $450 deposit though.

I made an Italy bucket in savings.

I'm studying Italian and then going to bed.

Rainy morning. I'm kind of chilled. I went back to sleep for an hour to warm up. I've got a hoodie and jeans on now.

The guitar class this afternoon sounds too hard for me. Barre chords? No. So I guess that I'll just stick with the one on Friday for now. I found a guitar teacher that intrigues me though.

Italian went well. I like how he mixes up grammar and vocabulary. My previous teacher was all grammar all the time. I spoke some Italian to Zara, but she was not impressed. I'm looking into language exchanges?

I'm booked into a free intro to knitting class next Saturday. I'll have to get up at a decent hour, but still. Free.

Hmm. Rain ending at 4 PM. Maybe I could walk then. I walked up to the mailbox and back--not too far but it's a start. Then I decided to clean up the garden, figuring that it would be easy after the rain. I did and planted lettuce and spinach. I'll have to thin them because the seeds stuck together.

I've run out of steam a little. But I need to eat (done) and do laundry (part done) and study (part done) and practice, so that should fill up my dance card. And get the garbage out (done).

We're studying encryption in math class, and I'm totally not getting it. My brain hurts :) Crud, I only got one section done, and I need to practice.
