I didn’t know that dahlias don’t winter over in my area. You have to dig them up and store them inside. This is why I’m doing research. They’re pretty though.

I gave Zara fresh water, so she wants to drink out of the toilet. Cats!

I looked at trellises so I could grow climbing roses. I found a place that sells peonies. The book suggested to plant them with irises so that you have blossoms all spring long. You plant them (and irises) in the fall. I should have some garden beds set up by then.

Woke up at 7:30 AM. The cats are politely letting me know that they’re hungry.

Mimi is done eating and is about to take a nice nap. I plan to follow her excellent example. Zara is trolling for more food. I’ll feed you again at lunchtime, Zara.

Had a nice nap. Made a list of things to do.

Zara is acting weird. I fed them but didn’t see her anywhere. Mimi got pets and now she’s looking out the window. Oh, for the life of a cat :)

Threw myself together and went out. Dropped stuff off at the UPS Store. Decided to grab a bite at Culver’s, which was next door. Got litter at PetSmart. Saw a really cute cat but couldn’t tell if he or she liked other cats. Went to the library and picked up my stack of books, which are in the car, and I’ll take them with me tomorrow. Went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. Got money for the pet sitter.

Now I should rake the lawn, but I want a nap. After I feed Zara, who is asking for food.

I bought a pretty peony on eBay. It’s pink and white. So I need to get the front garden together.

I napped but got up for a meeting for class, but I don't know if we are having a meeting. One person said that he'd get back to us on a meeting time, but didn't. I'm working on my program. Oops, I need to change clothes and do laundry while I work (done, plus feeding cats and soaking a litter box).

I'm taking a break while I uninstall some programs because my laptop's storage is full. So I think that I'll put laundry in the dryer (done) and post. And I need to eat something.
