Mostly Packed
Dec. 21st, 2025 08:44 pmFedEx about my printer's ink: Your package is still on the way and we’re actively working to get you a new delivery date. (Now Monday.) Maybe I'll go to Best Buy tomorrow. I tried to order ink for pickup on Best Buy’s site, but it hung. I spent something like 20 minutes on the Web site. I then ordered it on my phone and was done in about a minute. Best Buy, fix your site!
I’m kind of disgusted and want to go to sleep after I take my meds and brush my teeth.
Gracie was being rambunctious when I went into the bedroom. She kept on trying to play dog play with me, and I kept telling her to play with Bella. She did play with Bella until Bella had had enough and went under the bed. Gracie has finally settled down, so I’m going to sleep soon.
Woke up at 6:30 AM. The cats aren’t around, so they must still be asleep. Well, here comes Oliver. And here’s Lily.
Oy. Lily took the longest time to get into the kitchen to be fed and wouldn’t let me help her. Meanwhile, Oliver finished his food and started on hers. Lily wanted Zara’s food, so I gave it to her. Gave Zara her food and came back, and it looked suspiciously like Bella ate Lily’s food. Lily left, so I’m giving up. Did I say, “Oy?”
I really want to watch The Princess Bride now. (I’m reading a book about it.) Maybe I’ll watch it in my hotel room. I’m piling up books to read. I should have lots of time to read on the ship. I finished the book. It was fun.
Nap time. Wrestling dogs. Slept for about an hour. Lily greeted me, so I fed her in her rightful place, on top of the refrigerator (away from the dogs!)
Got my Walmart order. I need to figure out if the cordless trackball needs a battery. No, it has a battery and it connects via Bluetooth.
I’m going to lie down for a little while (done).
I read about people who rent out their clothes. I have a cashmere coat that I could rent. I need to look more into this. They seem to be only designer stuff.
Showered, but I decided to go to Best Buy tomorrow because I need to go out tomorrow for a pedicure and manicure anyway. I’ll need to go deposit some money and mail my package at lunchtime.
I’m busy packing, but my back hurts. I’ll try out the wireless trackball with the travel laptop. I had problems getting it to pair, but I finally got it to work after turning Bluetooth off and on. Got my travel laptop packed up, but whoa, dizzy spell. I'm mostly packed. I'm getting a new phone charger from Best Buy tomorrow before I can pack the chargers. Plus I need more clean underwear and socks. And my electric razor is charging. And I need to fill my shower bottles.
Oliver is trying to push the laptop off onto me and is grabbing some jars that I have. Cheeky little bastard.
I'm going to bed and getting up early. The post office opens at 8 AM, so I could run over there and mail my stuff. I need to go to the bank at lunchtime to deposit some cash that I got for the pet sitter way back when.
