I guess that I'm not the only one who's spent a quiet weekend offline. (I have to say that it's been nice.) I fly out to Detroit this coming Saturday, and I'm determined to get my place in decent shape before then. The deadline is helping a lot. Had a long talk with my movie friend Saturday night, and probably will get together with him over Thanksgiving week.

I won't be in Detroit very long; my mom and I are taking off to go to Columbus (Ohio). I'll definitely post pics of Columbus.

For what it's worth, I have some pics of my mom's house in Detroit and of Chicago that are a couple of years old.
