It happened again

I let Nima into the rest of the condo tonight. To begin with, Random was really good with her, although both he and Harlee followed Nima every place she went. I made a fuss over Random because he was being so good. And then Nima stared at him, and he went after her again. Nima got away quickly again (she is fast) and Random bailed when he saw me coming with the squirt bottle.

The problem seems to be Nima's staring, but I don't know how to get her to stop staring. I can't assume that she'll always be able to run away. I don't want to give her up either. I'll probably continue supervised visits because I don't know what else to do.

They'll sort it out. But you have to be careful. This morning I discovered my cats had stolen and hidden my squirt bottle. Little bastards.

I'm worried about Nima getting hurt. She's so small, and Random's so large.

Your squirt bottle entry made me laugh out loud. My gang has never tried that (although I have several of them, so maybe they think that it's pointless).
