The long hours and short nights have triggered a relapse in my symptoms. Shit. I thought that I got away with it.

The symptoms are still manageable (but upsetting). I'm going to rest a lot this weekend and see if the rest helps. The only thing that my doctor can do is to try me on new drugs that would make me incredibly sleepy and would interfere with driving and work.

My job always will have crunch times, though. A week's worth of crunch time is actually quite reasonable. I don't know what to do.

I might take in a movie this weekend to get my mind off of it.

Abrupt change of topic: my plumbing is finally fixed after an outlay of $730. Ouch. The price seemed high, but I don't know what the going rates are. He installed the new faucets that I had, but needed to replace the valves under the sink (much of the cost). (If I had known that they needed to be replaced, I would have gotten them at Home Depot.) He did find where the water shutoff valve to my unit was, although it's mismarked as belonging to another unit. Anyway, the faucets are installed and work beautifully. I keep turning them on and off in amazement at how well they work.

Now I just need to get my car fixed. The transmission place said that the leak wasn't a transmission leak, and they thought it was an oil leak. So everyone agrees that there's some sort of leak, but no one agrees as to what kind. I'm probably going to take the car to the dealer to have them look at it. Next week would be good because I have to leave by 8 AM each morning because the construction workers are resurfacing my patio. (That's not going to help me get more rest.) This month is going to be costly; please send food -;)
