My stomach seems to be settling down, which is a Very Good Thing. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions though. However, I literally have no appetite, even when I first wake up. Lean Cuisine dinners even seem a bit much for me, which is a little scary to me. (I know that some people would pay a lot of money to get the same effect, but in point of fact, forcing food down isn't a lot of fun-;))

However, I do want to lose at least 20 pounds anyway, so I'm trying to roll with it. Ramen and Slim-Fast both go down well (though I feel like a teenager!), so I bought a lot of soup, yogurt, and cottage cheese. We'll see how that goes. I also was able to eat a canful of Chunky soup, although that seems incredibly rich too.

Taco Bell cheese quesadillas go down well too, for some reason.

So I'll see what happens....

I just got a feel for how large the Western part of the U.S. really is. Over the last couple of days, I've been playing a lot with the Flight tracker that [livejournal.com profile] in2oblivion mentioned in her journal. Right now, I have a flight from San Francisco to Philadelphia up. The plane is just leaving Iowa and about to go over Illinois, and there's an hour and fifteen minutes left of a 5-hour flight.

Whoops, the display just suddenly jumped to Ohio. I guess it was lagging behind. I buy that a lot better though.

Anyway, the Flight Tracker is fun. I was tracking flights from San Jose to Portland earlier and looking at Portland cams. A little armchair travel-;)

Addendum: I should mention that the Flight Tracker covers only the continental U.S. Bummer-;)
