The Eagle has landed

I've moved to Fresno. I'm going to bring the feline members of the family down from San Jose on Monday.

I have way, way too much stuff. Stuff from my condo, my garage, and my storage area are now sitting in my dining area. I'm going to set up my stereo and start tacking the mess.

I really love my new apartment. It feels more like home than my condo did. (Well, it felt more like home until we moved all my stuff in. That should give me incentive to get the place well organized.)

I still need to do a lot of cleaning in the condo. I thought about going back up to San Jose today, but I'm hammered and they're predicting thunderstorms, so I'm going to stay in town today.

I went to a terrific discount grocery store last night, and loaded up on frozen dinners, to find that my new kitchen doesn't have a microwave, so I need to go in search of one. If I have enough money left after the move, I'll go in search of a washer and dryer. Exciting, no?

I've had enough excitement for a while -:)

The apartment appears to have only one phone jack, which is kind of a pain. Right now, I'm typing this on my kitchen counter.
