All present and accounted for

Monday I had planned to pick up the cats. I headed out and stopped for gas in Los Banos (about halfway to San Jose) when I discovered that I didn't have my wallet. Luckily I had a 20 dollar bill in my pocket, so I was able to buy gas. However, there wasn't much else to do but head back to Fresno (slowly because I didn't have my driver's license with me). I found my wallet when I got home. I called my boss and said that I'd be out an extra day to get the cats.

Today everything came off without a hitch, and I have three unhappy cats settling in. I put all three cats in separate rooms while they calm down and get used to each other's smells again. (Random has been hissing and growling at Nima. Silly boy.) Random has been making a fuss over me. Nima is unhappy about being separated from Random and me, and is being very vocal about it. Harlee was hiding in my bedroom closet for a long time, but I just caught a glimpse of her before she disappeared.

And I'm beat. I'm trying to unpack boxes even though I'm tired. I think that the trick is to keep moving even if I don't have the energy.

I have a lead on a cheap washer and dryer, so that's nice.

Back to work tomorrow.
