I put Harlee in my bedroom, which might have been a mistake. She was hiding under the bed, and when I came in, she started meowing and Would Not Stop until at least 3 AM.
I know that it was kind of poignant; she was saying, "Mom, I'm lost. Help me." However, my patience wore thin pretty fast.
Today she's been quiet and has eaten some, although she's spending most of her time under the bed. She's welcome to stay there as long as she wants if she'll let me sleep.
Random has taken over a box of stuff for the home office as his spot. He spent all day on it. (Silly boy.)
Random has started ignoring Nima again (his usual attitude towards her), so I should be able to let her out of the home office soon.
The only problem is that I need to be in San Jose on Friday. I need a prescription for Dexedrine, which needs to be hand-delivered to the pharmacy instead of called in. I called my doctor about the prescription last week, but he was out of the office. He said that the only way that he could give the prescription to me was if I drove up to San Jose. I called the Fresno branch of Kaiser, and the earliest that they could get me an appointment was on May 11th. They wouldn't write a prescription without seeing me. Driving to San Jose scares me because I started nodding off and drifting into the next lane when I drove the cats down. However, I don't see that I have much choice.
