On Track

I'm on track to finish everything that I want to get done at work before school starts a week from Monday, without any mad scrambles. I even have a little wiggle room for unforeseen tasks that come up. This worries me a little because I'm wondering what I'm forgetting. But everything is clicking into place.

The only snag is that I kept on forgetting to bring my headphone and microphone in to make a couple of videos, so I'm going to record them at home this weekend. I also forgot the name of the software to use. But if those are the only things that I'm forgetting, I'm good :)

Now if only I could be as efficient at home as at work....I have a lot to get done this weekend.

To do list (mostly to shame myself into getting it done by publically stating what I want to get done):

• Dye hair


• Call about Mimi's meds


• Make hair appointment (left message)


• Call about blog problem


• Make car payment


• Drop stuff at Goodwill


• Pick up Mimi's meds


• Send scans of documents to Robinhood


• Pick up soda


• Go to Aldi's and WalMart


• Clean kitchen (started)


• Laundry (part done)

Shelter from the Storm

Well, I managed to get out and run errands, and there was a thunderstorm most of the time that I was out. It was pouring, but I figured that I wouldn't melt, and finished my errands.

It was kind of fun shopping at Aldi's and listening to the storm. The place was deserted. I bought salad ingredients, so now I have to eat salads. And because I'm low on cash, I can't let it go to waste. Whatever works.

Uh-oh. Flickering lights.

I think that I want to take a short nap and then call to get my Web site (travel blog) fixed.
