Mom Is in the Hospital. Again

She had to have her appendix taken out tonight. At least it's routine surgery, but whenever I get a call at work saying that my mom is in the hospital, my stress levels go sky-high. (I'm sure that she's none too happy either, but if she's hopped up on pain meds, maybe she is :)) I'm dealing with it by eating macaroni with white cheddar cheese sauce (frozen dinner), and plan to do the dishes and then read.

I'm also off one of my meds because a doctor declined the refill, and so far, I haven't been able to find out why. Great timing.
