The Lost Chord
Mar. 14th, 2021 12:28 amHmm. Zara is a little constipated, so I should pick up some pumpkin to mix with her food. I need to get some almond milk for me too.
I'm thrilled that there are so many people who are older on LJ. I'm interested in people who are younger too, but sometimes it's nice to interact with someone your age?
I love how my life is shaping up. Good job, music, and a move to a cool town next year. What's not to like?
When I get paid, I'm going to order a piano chord chart to hang over the piano. I want to work on chords because my voice teacher said that you can accompany yourself using only chords. I bought a book on piano chords and scales. And I printed out some chord charts.
Had a nice nap and lunch. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do. Believe it or not, I feel like a second nap, but I do need to go to the store later. I could also do dome decluttering. And I need to study Italian.
Did some massive decluttering of the office. Got a large garbage bag of (mostly) papers and an old keyboard to throw out. I didn't find the camera books though. I did find a tricolor printer cartridge so I can fix the printer. Yay. Put two of the cat carriers away.
Figured out what homework I need to get done this weekend. Did my readings for the homework. I think that last week was Spring Break, which is helping me keep up.
I did take another nap. Threw myself together at the last minute and ran to the store.
It just occurred to me that I don't know what's time Italian will be due to Daylight Savings Time. Sent a WhatsApp message to my teacher, but it's 5 AM there right now.
I'm feeling like I want to go to sleep again. But I need to practice voice and piano and study Italian. And throw clothes in the dryer (done). Hmm, my Italian instructor didn't send us the exercises from last week.
